About Us

Mobius AI, Inc was founded within the research facilities of Vanderbilt University in collaboration with smarttransit.ai partners. We focus on transforming fleet management and routing in NEMT, mass transit, over the road freight and last mile delivery with a sharp focus on maximizing efficiency and simplifying the intricacies of varied vehicle fleets, including electric vehicles. Supported by the National Science Foundation and the Department of Energy, we have developed a cutting-edge AI platform that employs non-myopic sequential decision procedures and meticulously evaluates the long-term implications of each choice to enhance fleet performance and routing strategies.

Fuel and Energy Optimization

Our state-of-the-art AI systems optimize fuel and energy efficiency by analyzing engine telemetry, GPS data, and other key metrics to optimize energy costs while maximizing service objectives. In partnership with Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority, we demonstrated savings of over $150K through strategic fleet assignments using our advanced machine learning models.

Dynamic Vehicle Routing

We are transforming the dynamic vehicle routing problem (DVRP) with AI solutions that use generative models to predict demand and adapt to custom constraints while learning from dispatcher preferences. Developed with Vanderbilt University's SmartTransit.ai team, our approach optimizes efficiency and has outperformed other vendors in real-world tests.

Planning and Analysis

Our planning and analysis tools continuously learn from operational data, integrating census and job data to create custom synthetic origin-destination trip datasets for in-depth transportation system analysis. Additionally, they offer advanced features like novel charging strategies and dynamic adaptation to utility costs, optimizing transportation design in a rapidly changing environment.
